About The Spencer Collection

Hope Judkins Spencer, a New England native, has been an avid student of early American silver for over forty years and sole proprietor of The Silver Collection.  With degrees in history and education, she is an independent researcher, Winterthur Visiting Scholar, educator and photographer.

Hope shares her interest in and knowledge of silver through museum talks and curatorial assistance, in group lectures, and in nationally published articles on antique silver.  She is a member of The New York Silver Society and The Silver Society, London.  She lives in Santa Barbara, California.
